What no-bake (air-set) moulding is, where it is used, and why Nandini Foundry is adding it in 2026.
No-bake, also called air-set moulding, uses sand mixed with a chemical binder that hardens at room temperature. The mould sets without being baked, which gives it its name.
No-bake moulds are rigid and hold their shape well, so the process is widely used for medium and larger castings and for parts made in smaller batches.
In 2026 we are adding no-bake casting to our Rajkot facility, for products from 100 grams to 400 kilograms. Contact us to discuss whether a part suits no-bake moulding.
